Lighting the Path to Healing
Are you feeling isolated or having trouble adjusting after a significant life change? Is there any difficulty connecting with your partner? Might you also have trouble coping with a traumatic event plaguing you? I have specialized training in working with LGBTQ+, couples, police and first responders, people with disabilities, and new or expecting mothers. People are not "one size fits all," which is why I use several modalities during therapy to customize treatment for every client. Clients can begin to look at things from a new perspective and create lasting change when they leave sessions.
My 15 years of experience and receiving my Master's in Counseling from Kean University has allowed me to work with children, adolescents, and adults struggling with various difficulties. As a trauma-informed therapist, I can also ensure and provide care to clients to help build coping skills that will reprocess and desensitize trauma responses.
Additionally, I provide individual and group supervision to LACs. We will work together to develop the skills necessary to become a competent clinician and to protect you and your clients during this learning period. I will provide feedback regarding ethical concerns, therapeutic approaches, resources for clients and feedback on documentation. Contact me for more information.
